Use this sample to:

  • Create a watcher in the database watcher service for Azure SQL.
  • Create an Azure Data Explorer cluster and a database on that cluster to be used as the data store for the watcher.
  • Create Azure SQL database, elastic pool, and managed instance SQL targets for the watcher, using Microsoft Entra and SQL authentication.
  • Create managed private endpoints for the watcher to connect to an Azure SQL logical server and a vault in Azure Key Vault using private connectivity.
