Unable to delete VMSS instance Owned by Microsoft Subscription

This VMSS is currently in a Microsoft-managed subscription, so I cannot delete it. Azure Error Deleting

Could you please assist me in deleting it

Could you share more details about the issue, so that we can assist you correctly.

Are you in the part of same subscription which you are trying to delete?
Do you have contributor or owner access to the VMSS’s subscription and tenant?
Can you specify which Azure service or resource the VMSS is associated with like Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Lab Services, Azure DevOps, Application Gateway?
Can you confirm which Azure Active Directory (AAD) tenant your user account is currently authenticated against?

Hi Ramiro Larenas,

I think the VMSS are associated with labs that are hosted in your subscription. If you try to delete the labs associated with this vnet, the VMSS instances will also be removed.

Steps to Delete a Lab

Open the Azure Portal:

Navigate to the Azure portal.

Access the Resource Group:

In the left-hand menu, select Resource groups.

Choose the resource group that contains the lab you want to delete.

Filter Lab Resources:

In the resource group, use the filter to set Type == Lab to display only lab resources.

Delete the Lab:

Locate the lab you wish to delete.

Click on the ellipsis (...) next to the lab name.

Select Delete from the dropdown menu.

Confirm Deletion:

In the warning message that appears, type Yes to confirm.

Click Delete to proceed.

Please note that deleting a lab is irreversible. Ensure that you have backed up any necessary data before proceeding.
