Valid values for PublisherType are "MSSQLSERVER", "ORACLE", and "ORACLE GATEWAY". The default value is "MSSQLSERVER".
The PublisherType property should only be used with a non-SQL Server Publisher.
The PublisherType property cannot be set for an existing Publisher.
The PublisherType property can only be retrieved by members of the sysadmin fixed server role at the Distributor.
The PublisherType property can only be set by members of the sysadmin fixed server role at the Distributor.
Retrieving the PublisherType property is equivalent to executing sp_helpdistpublisher.
Setting the PublisherType property is equivalent to executing sp_adddistpublisher.
