The Set-DnsServerStubZone cmdlet changes settings for an existing stub zone.
A stub zone is a copy of a Domain Name System (DNS) zone that contains only resource records that identify the authoritative DNS servers for that zone.
The stub zone can be a forward lookup zone or a reverse lookup zone.
The stub zone can be an Active Directory-integrated zone or a file-backed zone.
This command changes the replication scope for a stub zone named west04.contoso.com to all DNS servers in the ___domain.
Parameters
-AsJob
Runs the cmdlet as a background job. Use this parameter to run commands that take a long time to complete.
The cmdlet immediately returns an object that represents the job and then displays the command prompt.
You can continue to work in the session while the job completes.
To manage the job, use the *-Job cmdlets.
To get the job results, use the Receive-Job cmdlet.
For more information about Windows PowerShell background jobs, see about_Jobs.
