This topic is part of the WiFiCx driver model. WiFiCx is the Wi-Fi driver model released in Windows 11. We recommend that you use WiFiCx to take advantage of the latest features. The previous Wi-Fi driver model WDI is in maintenance mode and will only receive high priority fixes.
WiFiCx drivers use NDIS_STATUS_WDI_INDICATION_ASSOCIATION_PARAMETERS_REQUEST to request association parameters for a set of BSSIDs from the host.

This indication can be sent by the adapter when it finds a BSS entry that is a candidate for association based on the current settings. Upon receiving this indication, the host checks if the association parameters are available, and if so, sends them with OID_WDI_SET_ASSOCIATION_PARAMETERS.
