Taking a phased approach is one possible strategy you can adopt for the rollout of the service across your organization. The first phase involves onboarding early adopters across different departments or development teams. These users provide valuable insights on service access, compatibility, usability, and performance. Training, FAQs, and internal documentation should be distributed during this phase to help users understand the new environment.

The second phase can expand access to all intended development teams and projects across the organization, leveraging the lessons learned from earlier phases. As all the development teams start using the service, the IT or Platform Engineering teams should continue to communicate with the development teams about regular updates on new features and best practices.

To ensure developers are well supported, establish feedback and support mechanism during and after rollout.
