Metadata Controls
These controls let you connect or disconnect the Kinect Studio tool to/from the Kinect Studio Service.

Hides metadata from view. | Hides metadata from view because some metadata may potentially contain personal information. |
| Metadata type | Selects the Metadata Type: Public or Personal. | |

Add new metadata. | Displays the metadata entry dialog. |

Note
By creating metadata of the ‘Personal’ type, you can attach e.g. Personally Identifiable Information (PII) to the clip which - with the help of KSCONVERT - The Kinect Studio Clip Conversion Tool – can be stripped from the clip at a later time.
