IActiveIMMIME::SetHotKey method

Sets the value of the Active Input Method Editor (IME) hot key.

Syntax

HRESULT SetHotKey(
  [in] DWORD dwHotKeyID,
  [in] UINT  uModifiers,
  [in] UINT  uVKey,
  [in] HKL   hKL
);

Parameters

• dwHotKeyID [in]
  An unsigned long integer value that contains the hot key identifier.

• uModifiers [in]
  An unsigned integer value that specifies the keys that must be combined with uVKey to trigger the hot key.

• uVKey [in]
  An unsigned integer value that contains the virtual key code of the hot key.

• hKL [in]
  A handle to the keyboard layout that is associated with the Active IME.

Return value

Returns S_OK if successful, or an error value otherwise.

Remarks

This method maps to the ImmSetHotKey function.
