ContentDialog.onbeforehide event

Occurs before the dialog is hidden. When you call preventDefault on this event, the dialog does not hide.

  Type: CustomEvent**

  An object that contains information about the event. The detail property of this object contains the following sub-properties:

  • detail.propertyName
    A object that specifies why the dialog was dismissed. This is usually a WinJS.UI.ContentDialog.DismissalResult value, but it may be any object.
