Flyout.show method

Shows the Flyout, if hidden, regardless of other states.

Syntax

flyout.show(anchor, placement, alignment);

Parameters

• anchor
  Type: HTMLElement

  Required. The DOM element to anchor the Flyout.

• placement
  Type: Object

  The placement of the Flyout to the anchor: the string literal "top", "bottom", "left", or "right".

• alignment
  Type: Object

  For "top" or "bottom" placement, the alignment of the Flyout to the anchor's edge: the string literal "center", "left", or "right".

Return value

This method does not return a value.

Remarks

If you want to perform an action after showing an overlay, use the onaftershow event.
