[Starting with the .NET Framework 4.5, Windows Identity Foundation (WIF) has been fully integrated into the .NET Framework. Provides methods to convert a WS-Federation message to RequestSecurityToken and RequestSecurityTokenResponse objects, which are WS-Trust protocol specific.
