The AppGetStatus2 method retrieves the status of a Web application.

[out] Pointer to a LONG containing the status. Receives one of the following values indicating the status of the application:Term

No application is defined at the specified path.
APPSTATUS_RUNNING

The application is running.
APPSTATUS_STOPPED
0
The application is not running.
Return Value
The method returns an HRESULT. Possible values include, but are not limited to, S_OK, which indicates that the method succeeded.
Requirements
Client: Requires Windows XP Professional, Windows 2000 Professional, or Windows NT Workstation 4.0.
Server: Requires Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000 Server, or Windows NT Server 4.0.
