StandardModelingAdapter.GetElementDisplayName Method (ModelElement)

Extension point for letting the DSL author decide the Display name for a particular model element

  Type: Microsoft.VisualStudio.Modeling.ModelElement

  Model element for which we want to compute the display name

Return Value

Type: System.String

A string constaining the Display name for the </w:t></w:r><w:r><w:rPr><w:rStyle w:val="ParameterReference"/></w:rPr><w:t>mel</w:t></w:r><w:r><w:t>

Remarks

This method is called by GetElementReference to determine the display name for the element. If this method returns null or empty, <c>GetElementReference </c>will use the display name of the ___domain class instead
