Whether your data is stored in spreadsheets, databases, or other systems, you want to import it into Dynamics 365 applications—such as Dynamics 365 Sales, Dynamics 365 Customer Service, or Dynamics 365 Field Service—to centralize customer information in one place. You can use templates to import various types of records, with a complete list available in the Templates for Data Import wizard.
These settings can be accessed in the Microsoft Power Platform admin center. TO update them, ensure sure you have the System Administrator or System Customizer security role, or equivalent permissions.
- Sign in to the Power Platform admin center.
- In the navigation pane, select Manage.
- In the Manage pane, select Environments.
- On the Environments page, select an environment.
- In the command bar, select Settings.
- Expand Templates, then select Data import templates.
- Select the record type for which a template is needed, then select Download. The file downloads to your machine.
