This we can split into two different steps:
1. Enable below features first in Windows Server 2008
Ø Web Server (IIS)
Ø .NET Framework 3.0
In order to do that please follow the below steps:
o Control Panel > Programs and Features
o Select 'Turn Windows Features On or Off'
o Click on ‘Features’ under ‘Server Manager’
o Click Add Features and select ‘.NET Framework 3.0 Features'
o Click ‘Next’
o When it prompts for installing IIS role, select ‘Yes’
2. Create slipstreamed SharePoint Server 2007 SP1
Follow the below steps:
o Copy all the files and directories from the MOSS DVD to your local system [C:]
o Download the SP1 of WSS and MOSS from below links:
o Create a folder “Extract” in C:
o Now extract the downloaded SP1 by executing the below
§ c:wssv3sp1-kb936988-x86-fullfile-en-us.exe /extract:c:Extract
§ c: officeserver2007sp1-kb936984-x86-fullfile-en-us.exe /extract:c:Extract
o Copy all the files in “Extract” to the “Updates” folder in “x86”
After the step 1 and 2 is done run the setup from the x86 directory, this will install MOSS along with SP1 for WSS 3.0 and MOSS 2007.
