Hi, My name is Mike Wise and I work for MCS – Microsoft Consulting Services – also known as Microsoft Enterprise Services. Although my background is that of a general developer/solution architect, somehow over the last few years I have become pretty closely associated with SharePoint, and the Capacity Planning thereof. I have done a lot of planning and research around this topic over the last few years and think it is time to share some of those nuggets.
I have delivered some large Enterprise SharePoint designs, and developed and teach the MCM SharePoint Capacity Planning Course. I also have the certification myself – which was a lot of work but rewarding in the end.
So here we go.
This post is really more of a "test" post, I am experimenting a bit to see what kind of graphics I can use, how fast it updates, how amenable it is to changes, etc. So bear with me for a week or so while I figure things out. (I figured out that you pretty much have to use Live Writer to do anything decent)
