Introduction

Overview

The purpose of the Traceability application is to navigate MES production data to help customers understand the complex relationships between incoming and outgoing materials, operations performed on materials, and the equipment, operators and tools involved in the material processing.

This app also explores the genealogy of each material, that is what a material is made of, and traces its origin even when the manufacturing process has been executed in different plants.

Traceability is essential to promptly identify the cause and context of any issue in order to evaluate the impact of this issue on the manufacturing process and take immediate corrective actions.
