The Containment Page¶
From the Navigation panel on the Traceability page, open the Containment page by clicking the icon on the selected item, that is the one that was analyzed and may have an issue. The list of all the successors Production Tracking Items of the selected item is displayed.
Creating a Containment Request¶
- Select one or more Production Tracking Items. You can optionally add a comment and save it. The maximum length for comments is 1000 characters.
- Click "Create Request" on the top bar. The Create Containment Request panel opens. The Name field is prefilled with ContainmentRequest_
. You can add a comment in the edit box. - Select one or more chips available for the items selected in the previous page and that you want to include in the Containment Request. The chips for which you added a comment are marked with a specific icon.
- Click "Save" to create the Containment Request.
- Click "History" on the left-hand side menu to view the Containment Requests page with the list of Containment Requests ordered by creation date.
- Select a request to view its details on the right-hand panel.
- The details panel shows the request Name, Author, Creation Date and any Comment you added, which can be better displayed and enlarged in a separate edit box.
- The Production Tracking Items tab shows the list of Production Tracking Items included in the Containment Request.
- The Acks Received tab shows the acknowledgements to the Containment Request from external systems.
- Once the request has been acknowledged, click "Refresh" on the top bar. In the Containment Requests page, the number in the "Acks Received" column is increased by 1 and in the Acks Received tab the acknowledgement tile is shown.
- Click "Release" on the top bar to release the Containment Request. You can optionally add a comment. Click "Save". The "Is" Valid column for the request is set to No.
