Settings in MindConnect IoT2050¶

You can change the log file upload settings and system time using “Settings” area in MindConnect IoT2050.

In the left navigation pane, click "Settings" to display the "Settings" for MindConnect IoT2050. The page provides following settings:

• Diagnosis
• System

Diagnosis settings¶

This section has the configurations related with diagnostics setting such as level of logging.

Log files upload¶

The log files upload section displays the current status log file upload setting. To enable or disable the log file upload functionality, click the "Upload log files" toggle button.

Change settings status¶

The status of changing the log files upload settings process is displayed in the "Change settings status" section.

System settings¶

Change system time¶

Change system time

In “Change system time” section, the current Windows host system time will be displayed in UTC format. A new system time can be updated using the time edit field.

To start the change system time process, click "Change time" button.

Firewall¶

The firewall section displays the current configuration of firewall ports of MindConnect Software Agent.

Ports

MQTT: By opening the MQTT port, the MindConnect databus is opened on TCP port 11883 and can be used by external generic data adapters.

Firewall configuration status

The status of recieving and changing the firewall configuration is displayed in the firewall configuration status section.

Restricted configuration¶

The Restricted Configuration option shows if the device settings have been restricted from cloud configuration using the RestrictDeviceConfiguration USB command.

Status

The status of the restricted configuration setting will be displayed in the Status section.
