Overview¶
The Setup is the foundational configuration interface for establishing the organizational and operational structure in the system. It enables the definition of personnel, team groupings and physical asset locations, that is crucial for system functionality, access control and workflow optimization. The Setup configuration offers the following functionalities:
-
Early anomaly detection: This allows for setting up the application correctly allows you to identify unusual patterns or deviations in asset behavior at an early stage.
-
User Rights and Access: This allows for setting up user accounts, defining roles and assigning specific permissions to control who can access and modify different parts of the application.
-
Service cost reduction: This allows by optimizing equipment performance and detecting issues proactively, the setup configuration helps minimize unexpected breakdowns and associated service costs.
-
Equipment performance optimization: This allows the setup configuration ensures the assets operate properly and leads to improvement in efficiency and output.
-
Integration of predictive maintenance and condition monitoring systems: This allows for effective root-cause analysis and quick resolution of issues, further enhancing operational efficiency and factory productivity.
To enable these functionalities, the setup is configured by managing the following:
- Employees register and manage individual users who interact with the Insights Hub Asset Health and Maintenance application.
- Teams group up the registered employees based on their functional, departmental or operational responsibilities.
- Sites represents physical or logical locations where assets are deployed and managed.
