Insights Hub Asset Health & Maintenance is a cloud-based solution that utilizes the Insights Hub Industrial IoT platform to enable advanced monitoring and maintenance of industrial assets. It supports asset-intensive industries in transitioning from reactive or time-based maintenance approaches to predictive and prescriptive maintenance.

This application helps the maintenance, shopfloor and reliability teams to take quicker and confident decisions. The major benefits of implementing Insights Hub Asset Health & Maintenance in the organization are:

The solution consists of five building blocks that are integrated with each other and leverage the Insights Hub capabilities, and will help you to:

  • Correct failures fast - Respond quickly and effectively to problems.
  • Prevent failures effectively - Perform maintenance based on actual usage.
  • Predict failures on time - Anticipate problems before they occur (PdM block needs to be purchased additionally)

  • Improve continuously - Track and log problems systematically.

Functions and Capabilities

Insights Hub Asset Health & Maintenance offers the following functions and capabilities:

  • Cases are digital records that document and manage maintenance events or incidents.

  • Assets are the physical or logical entities monitored and managed within the application. Merging and analyzing insights from asset types are:

    • Monitors and representation of the asset’s health and maintenance needs.
    • Displays the events that triggered the maintenance requests.
    • Displays the evidence as time series data that triggered the maintenance requests.
    • Displays the evidence as frequency spectra that triggered the maintenance requests.

  • Setup is the configuration tasks required to initialize and maintain system operation. Streamlining the maintenance process and information flow.

  • Administration is the ongoing management and oversight functions necessary for application. The key aspects are:

    • Assigning user roles, managing permissions and handling authentication using Insights Hub Identity & Access Management (IAM).
    • Supervising asset onboarding, modifications and decommissioning procedures.
