Managing Asset Features¶
Asset Features defines and configures the specific characteristics, attributes and data points that are relevant for monitoring and analyzing the health of various asset types. These features are often derived from sensor data, operational parameters or calculated KPIs. It ensures the consistent definition and interpretation of data across different assets and asset types and you can add Asset for feature configuration.
In this application, you can inspect the list of monitored assets as it is mapping external ids. You can also configure case auto generation rules for each particular asset. To generate an automatic case, click on an asset row and select event severities and types for which a case should be automatically generated. It is also possible to switch auto generation mechanism on or off. For more information, refer to Cases.

Add Asset for feature configuration¶
To add asset for feature configuration, follow these steps:

In the left navigation, select "Administration" and click "Asset features".

Click "Add".

Select the respective asset and click "Add".
Note
You can enable or disable "Auto-forward Cases to CMMS" and "Auto-create Cases on events" toggle buttons based on your requirements.
