Overview

The Administration in Insights Hub Asset Health and Maintenance is the central control panel for configuring system-wide settings, integrating external systems and managing global parameters that influence asset monitoring, event processing and case management. It addresses the technical configurations and integrations necessary for asset health monitoring and maintenance operations. The Administration offers the following functionalities:

  • User Management: It manages the user profiles, contact information and authentication and also assign users to specific teams or sites.

  • System Settings and Configuration: It sets the system-wide parameters (localization, notification defaults, data retention).

  • Audit and Compliance Tools: It views the logs of changes made to users, permissions and system settings. Tracks the administrative actions for security.

Administration allows to monitor and manage the following features:

  • Managing Asset Features: It defines and configures the specific characteristics, attributes and data points that are relevant for monitoring and analyzing the health of various asset types.

  • Managing default event filters: It defines and configures system-wide default rules or criteria that automatically process, categorize or suppress events generated by assets.

  • Managing CMMS Connections: It establishes and configures interface with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems.

  • Managing Case Tags: It defines and manages a standardized set of labels or keywords (tags) that can be applied to Cases.
