Projects that you create using the Unity Editor or the Unity Hub are assigned a cloud project ID by default. If you need to link a Unity Editor project to a cloud project, two alternatives are available:
  • Create a project ID from the Unity Editor
  • Link the Unity Editor project to an existing cloud project
To retrieve your project ID from Unity Dashboard, follow these steps:
  1. In Unity Dashboard, go to Projects.
  2. Select the project that you want to use.
  3. On the Settings tab, in the Project details section, copy the project ID.
To link your project from the Unity Editor, follow these steps:
  1. Open your project in the Unity Editor.
  2. Select Edit > Project Settings, and then select Services.
  3. Add a project ID in one of the following ways:
    • Link the Unity Editor project to an existing cloud project:
      1. Select Use an existing cloud project.
      2. Select an organization and a cloud project, and then select Link Unity project to cloud project. You must be signed in to the Unity Hub.
    • Create a project ID:
      1. Select Create a new cloud project.
      2. Select an organization, and then select Create new cloud project and link to Unity project. You must be signed in to the Unity Hub.
Your project is now linked to a cloud project. After you've added a project ID, the Services General Settings window displays additional settings. You can unlink the project and define a COPPA compliance setting.
